:) The Falling Angel (EN)

Nurse! Scalpel! Suction!

I was taking a shower when the phone rang.
Then I heard knocking - bang! bang! bang!
I took a step outside, on the wet tile floor,
And then I remember absolutely no more!
Just the dark tunnel and the light at the end,
Lightness in body and how dexterously I land.
How I was given wings and a halo (it's a trend!)
And a harp, so I could sing with accompaniment.

I rose to heaven, thought I'd stay,
But the angels laughed: "No way!
And a voice said: "Wait, not yet,
Your earthly tasks are still unmet!
Your battles down below still burn,
It's not your time, sinner, you must return!"

They clipped my wings, tore off the halo - my crown,
And rudely sent me way down.
I hit the soil with thunder sound,
Back to the chaos, back to the ground.
No harp, just memories, just my name,
I returned to the Earth to play the game.

Now I am screaming through the night,
Ex‑angel, just a mortal guy.
I’ve got two scars instead of wings,
I cannot catch why I'm beneath!
Reminiscences of skies above,
And no idea about the mission I owe!

All I know - I’m not done, I won’t fall!
Heaven needs me, I hear the call!
Not an angel, but mortal, I'm strong,
Seems this hell on Earth is where I still belong!

Okay, I’ll finish what I have begun,
I'll wind the clouds, I'll face the sun.
I'll raise the fire, I'll break the chains,
I'll sing my battle cry through blood and flames!
I am alive, and I won’t pretend —
This is war! The war until the end!
I've no escape, I've no easy end —
The Earth is my home; I have a duty to defend!

Suddenly I felt a rude slap in the face! Ache!
Someone said: "Doctor, it seems he's awake!"
Another voice replied, "Sew that idiot up.
Add more anesthesia to make him stop!"

And here I go again!
I walk with shadows, light inside,
An angel grounded, but I won’t hide.
Too many true stories left to unfold,
Too many stupid jokes left untold.
